Transit returns this July with a DJ who has travelled all the way from the Argentinian capital to give Pittsburgh a taste of what South American heat is really made of

Our guest, Camila Isabel, is a DJ and party promoter based in Buenos Aires. Her sets are raw and vibrant, blending jackin house, breakbeat, acid, tribal percussion, and flashes of Detroit techno, crafting a sound that’s both visceral and deeply groovy. She is the founder and curator of MISSA, a queer and inclusive party in her city. Her trajectory spans across iconic Buenos Aires clubs as well as international stages including Shelter Amsterdam, Club Kegelbahn (Switzerland), Operator Radio (Rotterdam), and Club OST (Berlin). She has shared decks with artists like Eris Drew, Octo Octa, Kim Ann Foxman, LEEON, Josh Caffe, among others.

smoko.world is a cartoon coyote, part-time dancefloor saboteur, and full-time schemer with Dog Noise — a Pittsburgh puppy collective known for throwing underground parties for underrepresented communities. He also broadcasts his hilariously constructed chaos over the airwaves on his weekly WRCT show, Go Fetch! Drawing from deep crates and deeper intentions, Smoko spins digital and wax with cartoon doggie logic.
