Perpetual Motion was a large underground rave held September 9, 1995 from 10pm to 10am in the Pittsburgh area, presented by UDG (Underground Inc.). The event featured tunnel‑vision era rave production with lasers by P.A.W.N., intelligent lighting by Eyegasm and Solo Lighting Techniques, 50,000 watts of EV MT‑4 sound by Dematteo, and massive video projections by Digital Sketches. Giveaways were provided by Sm:)e Communications and the event included a smart bar by Cafe 2000 and other classic mid‑90s rave atmosphere elements.

Tickets were $15 in advance at locations including Slacker and Collector's 12" in Pittsburgh and Deep Records in Cleveland, with door price $20. Attendees called the info line for directions to the secret location 24 hours before the event, a common practice for underground raves of the era.
