Nation of Language with Anika

Synth-pop trio Nation of Language brings their atmospheric new wave sound to Pittsburgh, with support from Anika.

Brooklyn-based synth-pop band Nation of Language performs live at Mr. Smalls Theatre in Pittsburgh, PA, with special guest Anika. Known for their moody, retro-futurist blend of new wave and post-punk influences, Nation of Language has built a devoted following through albums like 'Introduction, Presence' and 'Strange Disciple.' Anika, the German-British vocalist known for her deadpan delivery and work with Beak> producer Geoff Barrow, brings her own brand of hypnotic post-punk and dub-inflected electronic music to open the night. Presented by Opus One Concerts with support from 91.3 WYEP. Tickets and event details available at www.nationoflanguage.com/events.
