A Juneteenth celebration club night with DJ Love, Huny XO, and Manny Dibiachi running 9pm to 2am.
Picture it: it's Juneteenth, you're an intersectional being, and you know your history. How to perfectly commemorate a day that symbolizes Black American freedom within a month that celebrates queer defiance? SHAKE THAT ASS.
What is Freaknik '96 fittina be? Expect Southern classics (shout out to Texas!) and throwbacks, of course, because the mid-90's were an incredible time for music, style, and culture. Expect a hefty dose of tracks from other eras that evoke that Freaknik mood, as well. And definitely expect Black queer excellence *and* pure ratchetry in equal amounts because we contain multitudes.
