Pittsburgh experimental sludge / noise / doom trio.
Pyrithe is a Pittsburgh-based experimental sludge trio formed in 2017, releasing their debut full-length "Monuments to Impermanence" in April 2022 via Gilead Media. The band bursts through genre-bending, heavy compositions — lurching sludge, avant-garde atmospheres, and nebulous post-everything heaviness. Thematically, they view the world as apocalyptic but approach it with absurdity and dark humor.
